Welcome!
Welcome to the Brosamer Library at St. Teresa!
My name is Tabitha Bilyeu and it is my joy and privilege to be your librarian. This is my first time in a school library, but it will be my ninth (-ish) year working in libraries.

I received my Bachelors in History from the University of IL at Springfield in 2001, and my Masters in Library Science from the University of IL in 2003. While at the U of I, I was the Main Library Circulation Evening Supervisor for three years. Upon graduation I cataloged an educational collection over a six month time frame.

While my husband, Scott was in medical school in Rockford, I was the Library Director for St. Anthony's College of Nursing and Hospital library for three years. Upon the birth of my children, I took a brief hiatus so that I could stay home with them. Upon returning to the workforce I most recently worked at the Decatur Public Library in the Reference/Adult Services division.

I have enjoyed getting to know some of the St. Teresa students through the cheer squad, and I look forward to getting to know the rest of you. Feel free to ask me questions via email or just stop in and say "hi"

Go Dawgs!
